Rules of the Entropia Investment Fund
  1. This project is brought to the Entropia Universe community by members of the respected Via Dolorosa Society
  2. We use EiFund as an abbreviation for Entropia Investment Fund
  3. We use V-F-M as an abbreviation for the avatar Virtual Fund Manager
  4. The V-F-M is responsible and accountable for all trading deals. All transactions will be stored into a database. They will be published on this website periodically and permanently.
  5. The main goal of EiFund is to maximize the shareholder value, at a acceptable risk to, and determined democratically by, the shareholders.
  6. The EiFund will try and realize this goal by:
    1. Selling shares to build up a PED volume, which can be used for the purchase of investments.
    2. Trading of items, especially TT stuff. The profit of any trade remains 100% inside the Fund budget.
    3. Investing into a hangar. The profit of a trade remains 100% inside the Fund budget.
    4. Investing into taxable items like landareas, hangars or shops. For calculation purposes, the actual price at which the item is bought will be used. The profit of a taxable item may be payed out periodically or goes to the Fund budget, as per decision of the shareholders.
    5. Whatever opportunities may rise in the future, time will tell, and shareholders will decide.
  7. As long as EiFund posseses no taxable items or estate properties, EiFund guarantees that the value of share cannot drop below the sell price that is published in the upper right corner of this site.
  8. The base price of a share is 500 ped. The price at which a share can be bought is published in the upper right corner of the page header of the EiFund website. This price includes a 3% asset based fee.
  9. As long as the EiFund owns no taxable items or estate properties, the price of a share is calculated by:
    1. the base price of 500 ped for a share plus
    2. the amount on the PED card plus
    3. the TT Value of the items inside storage plus
    4. the bounded PED on auction bids
    5. the sum of (a.)+(b.)+(c.)+(d.) divided by the number of sold shares.
  10. From the moment EiFund owns estate properties or taxable item the calculation of the shareprice is:
    1. the base price of 500 ped for a share plus
    2. the amount on the PED card plus
    3. the TT Value of the items inside storage plus
    4. the bounded PED on auction bids plus
    5. the fixed value of the property as set by the V-F-M based on the price paid for the property
    6. the sum of (a.)+(b.)+(c.)+(d.) +(e.) divided by the number of sold shares.
  11. The actual share price will be published daily on this website. The selling price of a share will be changed as soon as the total fund volume has made an improvement of 0.01% related to the base value of 500.00 PED, which is 5 PEC.
  12. As long as the EiFund owns no taxable items or estate properties, each share has to stay inside EiFund at least 90 days from the date of purchase. This means that the shareholder accepts that a share cannot be sold back to the V-F-M before this period has passed.
  13. As long as the EiFund owns no taxable items or estate properties the shareholder can resell his share after 90 days to the avatar V-F-M. In this case a 3% fee calculated over the price at which a new share can be bought at that day, will remain inside EiFund. This fee will be invested into advertising activities inside EU and inside the major community forums or other important EU-related websites.
  14. From the moment the EiFund posseses a real estate or taxable property, the EiFund cannot guarantee a full value payback price any longer since these purchases will have no TT value. Upon selling a share, the shareholder is to find a buyer for his shares on his own (which may be V-F-M); the published share price is however a service by EiFund and no guarantee.
  15. Any investments without a guaranteed (TT value) return, like buying a land or a hangar, have to be approved by 66% plus one share. The weight of the vote of an investor is equal to his number of shares relative to the total number of shares sold.
  16. The rules of EiFund can only be changed if a majority of 66% plus one share of the total number of shares agree to this. The changes will be documented on the EiFund website and/or the internal forum.
  17. Freezing / unfreezing the selling of shares by V-F-M to the public or freezing / unfreezing the buying back of shares by V-F-M from shareholders can only be done if a majority of 66% plus one share of the total number of shares agree to this.
  18. No single shareholder, no matter his or hers percentage of shares owned relative to the total number of shares, can exercise his voting right over 33% of the total number of votes.
  19. When the EiFund owns taxable items the value of a share has to be calculated on a new basis, depending on the amount of the investment. Each share gets a payout of the earned taxes minus maintenance costs. The payouts will be made in the same frequency in which MindArk pays the taxes, but are limited to a maximum of one time per week to keep administration times low.
  20. All payments are made inside the game only.
  21. All shareholders accept that the EiFund acts in dependence of the Entropia Universe. The shareholders cannot hold the EiFund or V-F-M responsible for any malfunction or deactivation in Entropia Universe.
  22. Shareholders can not hold the EiFund or V-F-M responsible for downtime of this or any other related website, nor can they claim rights to (outdated) information published on this or any other site. Changes occurring within the Entropia Universe which are not (yet) reflected on the site(s), such as, but not limited to, the price of a share and/or the availability of certain items, give no right of purchase to the reader. Only direct trading offers within the Entropia Universe with the V-F-M can and will be accepted, at the price and conditions as recorded and stated by the V-F-M.
  23. Each shareholder accepts the actual End User Licence Agreement from MindArk.
  24. With the purchase of one or more shares the investor accepts and agrees to the rules of EiFund.
